Inventory is extremely low – there are only 18 available single family homes in Los Altos as of January 16, 2013. There is only 1 available condo/townhouse in all of Los Altos (on the multiple listing service (MLS) – there are additional properties available off the MLS) . The chart above shows year end totals since 2005. 2012 was a very good year for Los Altos Real Estate second only to the 2005 banner year in closed unit sales.
Los Altos Hills inventory is also very low at 21 homes available. 2012 was also a banner year in Los Altos Hills – second only to 2005.
Now is a very good time to list your property for sale as demand far exceeds supply. Price is still important to optimize the final outcome.
